Arizona Ballroom takes Top Studio award at Hawaii Star Ball!
Arizona Ballroom Company took 20 fun loving people to compete and enjoy Hawaii Star ball October 6th through the 12th, 2009. What an event! 51 studios from all over the world competed in a three day event. Our students placed very well in their respective categories - kudos go out to everyone who competed, particularly to Bob Smith and Bayonne Gowan, both of whom received all 1st places in their events! Alan & Leslie competed in American Smooth and took 3rd place in Rising Star and 4th place in Open Professional. Congrats to Alan and Leslie!

We added a couple of extra days to our trip for sightseeing. We toured Pearl Harbor and viewed the Arizona and accompanying museum. We enjoyed a fabulous luau at Paradise Cove, and explored the north shore and watched surfers on the Bonzai Pipeline.
